    • Do you have a waiting list to move into Sage Living?

We usually have a waitlist for those looking at long-term care. The quickest way to receive community updates and be contacted by a member of our team is to fill out the form on this website. Then, we can talk through your situation, assess if Sage Living is a good option, and when possible, discuss timelines.

    • What is memory care?

Memory Care is a distinct form of nursing and life enrichment that specifically caters to residents (and their families) with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other types of memory problems in a safe engaging environment.

    • Does insurance pay for long-term care?

Long-term-care is a wide range of services, inducing medical and daily living support. Some private insurance covers the cost of long-term care, but Medicare does not, with some exception. Contact us to learn more about ways to pay for care at Sage Living

    • Do you accept residents who require Medicaid to pay for their stay?

Yes, we are grateful to serve residents on Medicaid. However, to offer this incredible new home to the Jackson community, we must maintain a sustainable ratio of Medicaid and private pay. We give priority to our current residents transitioning to Medicaid and then to Teton County residents. Please still inquire as we will maintain a waiting list for both Medicaid and private pay.

    • What is the process for moving into Sage Living?

A journey into Sage Living starts with a relationship with our move-in team. We offer virtual or in-person visits and will look forward to offering tours of the community when available. Next, a prospective family completes an application. With the team, the application is reviewed for financial and medical qualification and fit into the community. Additional medical records may be requested.

    • Are the rooms at Sage Living Center fully furnished? Is there anything that residents need to bring other than personal items?

Rooms are fully furnished in Sage Living. Furniture in the room includes a hospital-type bed giving you or your care partners the ability to control bed height, incline and decline and small side-rails, if needed, for bed mobility. Beds are fully-outfitted with sheets, blankets, and a bedspread. Within your personal bathrooms are shelving for storage of bathroom items and towels. A moveable recliner chair and built-in shelves and drawers for storage of your clothing, shoes and personal items. Residents should plan to bring their clothing, shoes, seasonal outdoor attire like coats, hats, gloves and boots. Full laundry service is available in-house and provided by staff. Please bring your assistive devices as our therapy team will assess for proper fit and use in your new home.
