When medical bumps in the road come up, residents of Sage Living are in the best position to receive quick, professional care 24/7 thanks to the close proximity to St. John’s Health. When an unfortunate emergency occurs, due to a fall or rapid change in condition, a resident can be swiftly transferred from Sage Living to St. John’s Health Emergency Room, located on campus. When specialty clinic care for Parkinson’s or cancer is needed, these care teams are ready to care for residents and can often do so within the resident’s home at Sage Living. Likewise, when surgery is necessary, we’re grateful to partner with St. John’s Health’s capable surgical team to coordinate the pre-operative, surgical, and post-operative care. Physical access to St. John’s Health is convenient with a below-ground tunnel, physically connecting Sage Living to the hospital for swift worry-free transfers.

Sage Living replaced the Living Center, a 5-star community rated by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). We outgrew the Living Center, and opened Sage Living in 2020 where exceptional care for seniors continues.
