Music brings joy, laughter, memories, comfort, and connection to life at Sage Living. When local photographer and videographer David Stubbs witnessed the power of music to engage aging seniors, he knew he needed to document it.

The short film Something Changed in the Room showcases how board-certified neurologic music therapist Hilary Camino, MSc, MT-BC helps residents navigate the many hurdles of aging. From keeping seniors moving, recalling memories, improving communication, to fostering community and more, music therapy has transformed the lives of seniors at Sage Living. Something Changed in the Room provides an intimate look into the relationship Hilary and the residents hold with music and aging.
