"The only thing better than singing is more singing." - Ella Fitzgerald
The Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole, an all-volunteer organization of Jazz enthusiasts, helped to bring us together, as a community in song on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, for the First Annual Fall Festival. Featured singers from Sage Living, Teton County School District, and Community Entry Services, blew the roof off!
Hilary and Amber started casually talking about this event in April of last year. As ideas started to take flight, it was clear that this was an opportunity to celebrate music therapy and music education in the valley, but also to find togetherness in song (regardless of age, background, or ability). After visiting last spring, the Jazz Foundation of Jackson Hole was eager to play at Sage Living again. The feedback from residents on watching a big band jazz performance, was so overwhelmingly positive, that featuring the swingin' group at this event, was a no-brainer!
We are grateful to all performers for giving their time and energy. Thank you for making music in our house!
