Residents enjoyed attending three Grand Teton Music Festival Open Rehearsals this summer. Various residents prefer classical music among other genres and attend our Classical Music Listening & Discussion group at Sage Living. Like all genres of music, listening to a recording and listening to a live performance are two very different things, which is why we were thrilled to experience the Grand Teton Music Festival at Walk Festival Hall this year. Not only were residents able to hear the performance, but they were also able to experience the dynamic of a rehearsal and observe what makes this symphony orchestra so exemplary. From Mozart to Gershwin, bassoon to cello, our residents were locked into each performance with questions and insights abound. We are incredibly thankful to the festival for offering complimentary tickets to each rehearsal and for their staff’s hospitality and kindness. It’s been an exciting summer of community, culture, and classical music!
